Your Committee on Finance to which were referred:
Comm. 966 : IMPROVEMENT TO PEPEEKEO COMMUNITY CENTER AND
PLAYGROUND
From Ellen Takazawa, People Concerned for the
Improvement of the Pepeekeo Community Center,
dated September 24, 1982 requesting funds for
plumbing improvements , a paved driveway and
parking lot plus a fence around the athletic
field at the Pepeekeo community center and
playground;
' - 966. 1: From Mayor Herbert T. Matayoshi dated November 18 ,
1982 informing the Department of Parks and
Recreation plans to upgrade the facility by
installing a paved driveway and parking lot, and
doing plumbing improvements; funding to come from
the department' s allocation of the fund balances .
The perimeter fencing will have to be deferred
until additional funds become available;
recoulmends Council accept the recommendation of administration
regarding improvements to the Pepeekeo community center and
playground.
