Your Committee on Finance to which was referred:
A)(.c., Comm. 1018: PLAN FOR LIQUIDATING OVERTIME COSTS WITHIN
POLICE DEPARTMENT
From Chief of Police Guy A. Paul dated October 27 ,
1982 informing a plan for liquidating overtime
costs within the Police Department has been
devised and recommends the additional $312, 000
required for overtime costs and expansion and
upgrading of their word processing center plus
additional personnel be appropriated from the
FY 1981-82 fund balance;
recommends Council accept the recommendation of the Chief of Police to
liquidate overtime costs within the Police Department and that the
additional funds required be appropriated from the FY 1981-82 fund
balance. (Action taken on C-1019/Bill 903 :FC-272)
