Your Committee on Finance to which was referred:
Comm. 1050 : ATTORNEY COMPENSATION PLAN AND ADMINISTRATIVE PAY
(Bill 910 & SCHEDULE
Res . 521) From Mayor Herbert T. Matayoshi dated December 2,
1982 informing he concurs with the recommendations
of the Salary Commission on the attorney compensa-
tion plan and the administration pay schedule and
requests favorable consideration of the proposals .
Submits the Commission' s recommendation; a proposed
ordinance, which provides guidelines and criteria
for advancement and salary increases for county
attorneys ; a new pay schedule; and a resolution to
amend the existing salary ordinance.
Also submits the Commission' s recommendation on the
administrative pay schedule that there be no changes
made at the present time;
recommends Council approve and adopt: (1) Bill 910 on first reading to
amend Chapter 2, Hawaii County Code, by adding a new article, relating
to salary grades for deputies in the Office of the Corporation Counsel
and Office of the Prosecuting Attorney; and (2) Resolution 521 to amend
the salary ordinance reflecting the new salary schedule.
