Your Subcommittee on Real Property Tax submits for approval, the
following report :
Comm. 1054 : PROCEDURES OF SUBCOMMITTEE ON REAL PROPERTY TAX
From Subcommittee on Real Property Tax Chairman.
Spencer K. Schutte dated December 23 , 1982 submitting
proposed procedures for the Subcommittee to carry out
its functions in an orderly manner. The procedures
were developed to complement the existing procedures
of the Hawaii State Association of Counties Real
Property Tax Committee;
recommends the procedures of the Subcommittee on Real Property Tax be
accepted.

Your Committee on Finance to which was referred:
Res . 542: REQUESTING STATE DOE TO CONTINUE FUNDING THE
LANGUAGE ARTS MULTICULTURAL PROGRAM (LAMP)
• Recognizes the valuable contributions of the
Language Arts Multicultural Program in aiding our
culturally disadvantaged third and fourth grade
students and their parents in achieving success in
the educational system and becoming successful
contributing members of our society and requests
the State Department of Education to continue its
funding of this much needed educational program;

recommends Council approve and adopt Resolution 542.
