Your Committee on Finance to which was referred:
Comm. 1193 : CONCESSION STAND AT MOOHEAU BUS TERMINAL
(Res . 596) From Transit Operations Manager Steven Shinchi dated
March 29 , 1983 submitting a resolution authorizing
the Finance Director to negotiate with the Hilo
Vocational Rehabilitation Center, a private, non-profit
organization providing vocational training to handicapped
persons of Hawaii County, for a license to use and
maintain the Mooheau Bus Terminal and that the Finance
Director coordinate the terms and conditions of the
license with the Transit Operations Manager.
Informs the HVRC will provide bus information service
and provide daily maintenance of the terminal facility
in lieu of the concession fee. The terms and conditions
between HVRC and the County are attached;
recommends Council approve and adopt Resolution 596.
