Your Committee on Finance to which was referred:
LComm. 1213 : TRANSFER OF FUNDS - HIGHWAY 'FUND
(Res . 621) From Director of Finance Stanley A. Nakamae dated
April 29, 1983 informing workers ' compensation
payments in the Highway Fund are much higher than
anticipated for this fiscal year and additional
funds must be transferred to meet the needs. The
budgeted sum of $100 , 000 has been exceeded and
requests an additional $100 ,000 be transferred
from various accounts in the Highway Fund to cover
the overdraft and provide funds for the rest of the
fiscal year;
recommends Council approve and adopt Resolution 621.
