Your Committee on Finance to which was referred:
Ae, Comm. 1251 : EXTENSION OF POWER OF ATTORNEY
From Byron M. Fox, Vice President, Dillingham
Investment Corporation, dated May 18, 1983 informing
in 1979 , the Council extended the termination date
of a Power of Attorney granted to Punahou School and
Iolani School to act as the attorney-in-fact for the
special purpose of transacting a sale of the County' s
undivided interest in the parcels of real property
located in North Kona.
Further informs both the North Kona properties were
sold; one for cash and the other on terms to Molnar
Developments . Inc. which requires further adminis-
tration. Therefore, it is necessary to extend the
Power of Attorney granted to Punahou and Iolani
Schools ;
recommends Council approve the Second Extension of Special Power of
Attorney to Punahou and Iolani Schools and that the proper documents
be executed.
