Your Committee on Finance to which was referred:
Act. Comm. 1262: SALARY ORDINANCE AMENDMENT
(Res. 650) From Director of Personnel Harry Boranian dated
June 13 , 1983 submitting for adoption, a resolution
to amend the salary ordinance as a result of a new
provision in the operating budget which requires
that contractual hires and their funding source be
included in the salary ordinance. In addition, the
amendment contains four new Fire Fighter positions
which were included in the 1983-84 operating budget;
recommends Council approve the addition of four new positions of Fire
Fighter SR-16 in the Fire Department and the following contractual/exempt
positions :
(1) One EDP Programmer in the Data Processing Division, Department of
Finance;
(2) One Resource Materials Specialist, two Tourism Coordinators , and
one Sugar Staff Assistant in the Department of Research and
Development; and
(3) One Small Group Homes Coordinator and one Data, Processing Clerk-
Operator in the Hawaii County Office of Aging.
Further recommends the accompanying Resolution 650 be adopted to accom-
plish the above purposes .
