Your Committee on Finance to which was referred:
Res . 737 : REQUEST FOR PAYMENT OF SPECIAL COUNSEL
AFFIDAVIT OF COMPLAINT WITH BOARD OF ETHICS
Authorizes , pursuant to provisions of Section 5-2 . 5 ,
Hawaii County Charter, the payment of $519.55 for
the legal services provided to Councilman Frank
De Luz , III, by Jeffrey Choi, Esq. and the payment
of $1, 249. 30 for legal services provided to
Councilman James L. K. Dahlberg by Wayne C. Metcalf,
III, Esq. , regarding the Affidavit of Complaint
filed with the Board of Ethics by Henry A. Ross ;
recommends Council approve and adopt Resolution 737 .
(Messrs . Dahlberg & De Luz declared a
conflict of interest and abstained from
voting. )
