Comm. 1399 : APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS FOR EXPANSION OF KAILUA-KONA
(Bill 1031) SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT
From Director of Finance Stanley A. Nakamae dated
October 31, 1983 , informing contributions have been
received from private sources (Kona Investment Center ,
$3 ,200 ; Pacific & Asia Christian University, $160 ,000)
to help pay for expansion of the Kailua-Kona sewage
treatment plant;- and requests appropriation of these
funds, as well as $21,025 . 25 in the fund balance account
of the Kailua-Kona Sewer System, Phase II , for
construction of additional capacity of the plant.
recommends Council approve and adopt Bill 1031 on first reading.
