(Res. 784) TRANSFER OF FUNDS FOR EQUIPMENT PURCHASE ,
From Director of Finance Stanley A. Nakamae dated
October 26, 1983 , informing a tractor mower used for
cutting roadside grass in the Puna District was totally
wrecked by an automobile a few months ago. An insurance
settlement for its actual cash value of $8 ,000 was
accepted and the money was deposited in themotorpool
revolving fund.
Since the motor pool fund will be dissolved and assets
liquidated, requests that necessary funds be provided
from the highway fund to replace the mower and submits a
resolution to- transfer $21,000 from the highway
contingency account to the equipment account.
recommends Council approve and adopt Resolution 784 .
