Comm. 77 .8: ID 11 - PENALTY WAIVER AND CASH REFUNDS
(Res. 792) From Director of Finance Stanley A. Nakamae dated
November 22 , 1983 , submitting a resolution to
implement' a second penalty waiver and to allow cash
refunds for those holding unapplied penalty waiver
credits both for the 1982 penalty waiver and for the
proposed penalty waiver . The resolution is forwarded
in anticipation of confirmation that the American
Showa Corporation will be depositing $327 ,000 in
escrow which will be payable to the County;
recommends Council approve and adopt Resolution 792 , subject to
pP PJ
confirmation by escrow that $327 ,000 will be paid to the County by
American Showa Corporation.
