,A u Comm. 1424 .1: AMENDMENT TO COUNTY CODE RELATING TO
(Bill 1068) IMPROVEMENTS BY ASSESSMENTS
From Director of Finance Stanley A. Nakamae dated
February 9 , 1984 , submitting a proposed ordinance
bill to remove the eight percent ceiling on
interest payable by property owners on the
assessment installments and provide that the
interest rate payable on assessments will be
determined by the Council. This will assure that
such interest rate will be at least equal to the
rate payable on the bonds;
recommends Council approve and adopt Bill 1068 on first reading.
