Aet, Comm. 1503 : AMENDMENTS TO CHAPTER 19 , RELATING TO REAL
(Bills 1070 & PROPERTY TAXES . .
1071) From Director of Finance Stanley A. Nakamae dated
February 17 , 1984 submitting ordinance bills relating
to interest chargeable on real property tax
delinquencies and interest payable from taxes held in
the litigated claims account. The bills propose to
increase the interest rate from 8 to 12 percent which
better reflects current market conditions and
facilitates calculations;
recommends Bill 1070 be passed by the Council on first reading and
that Bill 1071 be placed on file .
