Your Committee on Finance to which was referred:
Comm. 1534 : TRANSFER. OF- FUNDS TO CIVIL DEFENSE AGENCY
(Res . 866) From Director of Finance Stanley A. Nakamae dated
March 16 , 1984 informing the Civil Defense Agency
received bills from the Department of Water Supply
for services performed during the drought and
earthquake emergencies in 1983 . Since the Civil
Defense Agency does not have funds to pay these bills
totaling $1 ,797 .96 , requests approval of the
resolution transferring funds from certain accounts
that can release the funds;
recommends Council approve and adopt Resolution 866 .
