Your Committee on Finance to which was referred Resolution 896-84,
making a provision for overtime compensation, reports as follows :
The purpose of Resolution 896-84 is to transfer 1113, 734.19 from the
Central Overtime account to various General Fund accounts for the
period of November 1983 - March 1984. Specific accounts affected and
brief explanations for overtime are noted on the attached sheet. The
balance remaining in the Central Overtime account after this transfer
will be X146 , 370. 38.
Members of the Finance Committee expressed the need for more detailed
explanation and justifications for the expended overtime .
Your Committee on Finance recommends referral of Resolution 896-84 to
the Council and requests the affected agencies to present morr�e
in-depth explanations for the overtime prior to Council action
