Your Committee on Finance, to which Was referred Resolution 917-84,
reports as follows :
The purpose of Resolution 917-84 is to appropriate and transfer
additional funds necessary for the rest of the year for worker ' s
compensation and to pay for costs incurred by the Civil Defense
Agency during emergencies .
• Pursuant to Section 10-9 of the Hawaii County Charter, relating to
appropriations and transfers, Resolution 917-84 transfers 1159, 850
from the Provision for Compensation Adjustment account to the
Worker ' s Compensation account (1150, 000) , Civil Defense electricity
account ($5, 350) , and Civil Defense miscellaneous materials and
supplies account (14, 500) .
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent and purpose of
Resolution 917-84 and recommends its approval.
