Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication 1653,
submitting the appointment of Taka Fujitani to fill the unexpired
• term of Robert N. Herkes on the Police Commission, reports as follows :
Mr. Fujitani , a Democrat , is a business agent for the Carpenters
Union, Local 745 , and will fulfill the unexpired term of
Robert N. Herkes . The period of appointment will be until
December 31, 1985 .
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the recommendation of
Mr . Fujitani by the Mayor and recommends Council confirmation .►f his
appointment. A
