Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 1107,
reports as follows :
The purpose of Bill No. 1107 is to appropriate t77 ,000 received from
the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration for use in the Domestic
Marijuana Eradication Programs .
Pursuant to Section 10-8 of the Hawaii County Charter, relating to
appropriations , Bill No. 1107 amends the operating budget for fiscal
year '84-85 , Ordinance 84-31, by increasing revenues in the Federal
Grant-Marijuana Eradication account in the amount of $77 ,000 and
appropriating 177,000 to the Marijuana Eradication account.
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of Bill No. 1107
and recommends that it pass first reading. A
