Your Committee on Finance; to which was referred Bill 1108, reports
as follows :
The purpose of Bill 1108 is to appropriate the estimated revenues,
receipts and surplus for expenditures in the Beautification Fund for
the fiscal year ending June 30, 1985 .
Bill 1108 proposes to appropriate funds for the following purposes:
Litter Reward Program $ 5,000.00
Fabrication/Installation of Signs 3 ,789 .90 I
Roadway Beautification 25,719.22
Abandoned Vehicles 4,000 .00
Contingency 31,000 .00
Total $69,509.12
Source of funds are:
Fund balance $33,509.12
Estimated Revenues 36 ,000 .00
Total $69,509.12
The Litter Reward Program is being established, pursuant to Council ' s
approval of Public Works Committee Report No. 310. Other proposed
appropriations are to reappropriate funds which have lapsed at the
close of the June 30, 1984 fiscal year.
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of Bill 1108 and
recommends that it pass first reading.
