Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 1111, reports
as follows :
The purpose of Bill 1111 is to amend Ordinance 84-31, the Operating-
Budget for the fiscal year ending June 30 , 1985 , by appropriating
9,650 of additional State grants to the Senior Community Service
Employment Program. Bill 1111 is in compliance with Section 10-8 of
the Hawaii County Charter relating to supplemental appropriations.
The funds will be used to pay the salaries of six temporary part-time
employees who qualify under the program.
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the purpose of Bill 1111 and
recommends that it pass first reading.
