Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 1121, reports
as follows:
The purpose of Bill 1121 is to appropriate funds received from the
State Civil Defense Agency to be used for the completion of the
Shelter Survey and Hurricane Warning Plan.
Pursuant to Section 10-8 of the Hawaii CountyCharter relatingto
supplemental appropriations, Bill 1121 increases revenues in the
Civil Defense Shelter/Hurricane Plan account by 138,000 and
appropriates said amount to the Civil Defense Shelter/Hurricane Plan
account.
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of Bill 1121 and
recommends that it pass first reading.
