as follows :
The purpose of Bill No. 1122 is to reappropriate $750,000 for the
Waiakea Stream Improvements flood control project. Funds previously
appropriated for this project lapsed on June 30, 1984. The project
will be implemented soon and bond funds are available .
Pursuant to Section 10-6, Hawaii County Charter , relating to the
capital budget, Bill No. 1122 amends Ordinance No. 84-32, relating to
public improvements and financing thereof for fiscal year
July 1, 1984 to June 30 , 1985 , by adding the Waiakea Stream
Improvements project to be funded by the 1982 Series A Bond Issue in
the amount of $750 ,000 .
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of Bill No. 1122
and recommends that it pass first reading.
