Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution 963,
reports as follows:
The purpose of Resolution 963 is to authorize the disposal of two
cottages located at Mt. View Elementary School , Mt. View, Hawaii ,
TMK: 1-8-01-07 , by public auction. The cottages have been returned
to the County from the Department of Education and are no longer
needed.
Pursuant to Chapter 2, Article 19, Hawaii County Code, as amended,
Resolution 963 authorizes the Director of Finance to: 1 ) dispose of
the above named buildings by public auction; and 2) determine the
date, place, terms , and conditions of the auction. The buildings are
to be demolished and removed if no acceptable bids are received.
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of Resolution 963
and recommends its adoption.
