Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution 966-84,
reports as follows:
Pursuant to Section 3-14, Hawaii County Charter , interim amendments
to the Salary Ordinance may be made by resolution.
Resolution 966-84 amends Section 8.02(a) , Clerical Services Center ,
Office of the Mayor, of the 1984-85 Salary Ordinance by reallocating
one position of Senior Clerk SR-10 to Clerical Supervisor SR-12.
This reallocation is necessary due to the introduction of word
processing stations throughout County departments . The Senior Clerk
now has increased supervisory and training responsibilities for
personnel in the County. The annual cost increase for the
reallocation will be 732 to be funded by the department ' s salaries
and wages account.
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of
Resolution 966-84 and recommends its adoption .
