Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution 973-84,
reports as follows:
Pursuant to Section 3-14, Hawaii County Charter , interim amendments
to the Salary Ordinance may be made by resolution.
Resolution 973-84 amends Section 8.17, Office of Aging, of the
1984-85 Salary Ordinance by reallocating one position of Assistant
Account Clerk SR-8 to Departmental Data Processing Assistant SR-12.
This request enables the Office of Aging to transfer computer
training,, data processing, and systems supervision responsibilities
to the Assistant Account Clerk. These duties have been performed by
the Information Specialist whose contract is not being extended.
The annual cost increase for the reallocation will be 12,028 funded
by the Older Americans Act .
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of
Resolution 973-84 and recommends its adoption.
