Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution 975-84, .
reports as follows:
Pursuant to Section 3-14, Hawaii County Charter , interim amendments
to the Salary Ordinance may be made by resolution.
Resolution 975-84 amends Section 8.14(a) , Office of Manager, and
Section 8.14(b) , Fiscal Division, Department of Water Supply, of the
1984-85 Salary Ordinance as follows:
1. Add one new position of Departmental Personnel . Clerk
SR-13.
2. Retitle one position of Assistant Waterworks Fiscal
Officer EM-1 to Assistant Waterworks Controller EM-l .
This new position is needed due to the increased size and workload
of the department. The personnel clerk position will be responsible
for all employees within the Water ,Department . The annual cost will
be $14,316 funded by the Water Supply General Fund,.
The retitling of the Assistant Waterworks Fiscal Officer is
necessary to conform to a prior change of the Waterworks Fiscal
Officer to Waterworks Controller. This action will have no cost
effect .
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of
Resolution 975-84 and recommends its adoption.
