Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution 986-84,
reports as follows :
The County Council amended the Mayor ' s proposed budget for the
1984-85 fiscal year by consolidating all overtime allotments into a
central account for monitoring purposes . The purpose of
Resolution 986-84 is to transfer funds from the Central Overtime
Account to the various departments for payment of accrued overtime .
Resolution 986-84 , which transfers $168,730 . 44 , covers the period of
July 1984 - September 1984. Specific accounts affected and brief
explanations for overtime are noted in Communication No . 1740 . The
balance remaining in the Central Overtime Account after these
transfers will be $412,373 .56 .
Your Committee on Finance concurs with Resolution 986-84 and
recommends its adoption .
