The purpose of Resolution No . 312-87 is to transfer and appropriate
$16 ,500 as follows :

The transfers are required for the following purposes:
1 . Purchase of replacement microfilm reader/printer unit
($3,500 ) ;
2. Enter into contract not to exceed $13 ,000 for a new voter
education/council information slide show or VCR production ,
including purchase of a TV and VCR -( 13 ,000 ) .
Pursuant to Section 10-9 of the Hawaii County Charter , the Council ,
by resolution, may transfer part or all of any unencumbered
appropriation balance from one agency to another .
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Resolution No . 312 87 and re mmends its adoption .
