Your Committee on Finance , to which was referred Bill 350, reports
as follows:
Bill 35.0 proposes to amend Ordinance 8664, the Capital Improvement
Budget for Fiscal Year 1986-87, by adding the following projects:
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS

SADDLE ROAD RESURFACING (MP 9 to MP 11 ) $480 ,000
(110-399-5399 .37-115)
SADDLE ROAD RESURFACING (MP 11 to MP 19 ) $375 ,000
(110 -399-5399 .39-115)
Funds for the projects shall be provided from Federal Grants
Receivable ($855,000 ) .
The roadway between MP 9 and MP 11 will be widened and paved . The
roadway adjacent to the Saddle Road between MP 11 to MP 19 will be
cleared and graded.
Bids for Phase I (MP 11 to MP 19 ) are scheduled to be opened
April 16 , 1987 . Bids for Phase II (MP 9 to MP 11 ) are scheduled to
be opened April 9 , 1987 .
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Bill 350 and recommends that it pass first reading.
