Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication
'No . 992, reports as follows :
The purpose of Communication No . 992 is to recommend the appointment
of Mr . Keith K. Carson of Kona to the Tax Board of Review.
Mr . Carson will serve until December 31, 1991, filling a vacancy
created by the expired term of Mr . Stanley Y. Yamachika .
Section 19-96 , Hawaii County Code , establishes a board of review
consisting of five members to be appointed by the Mayor and
confirmed by the Council .
Your Committee on Finance recommends approval of the appointment of
Mr . Keith K. Carson to the Tax Board of Review .
