Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution
No . 286-87, reports as follows:
The purpose of Resolution No . 286-87 is to transfer and appropriate
20,000 as follows:

Credited To:
010-601-5601.02-109 SOLID WASTE-OCE-REPAIRS TO
EQUIPMENT $20 ,000
Funds are necessary to repair three refuse trailers which sustained
damages from fires at the Kalapana Transfer Station, Keaau Transfer
Station and Hilo Transfer Station during the last week in January.
Pursuant to Section 10-9 of the Hawaii County Charter , the Council ,
by resolution, may transfer part or all of any unencumbered
appropriation balance from one agency to another .
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Resolution No. 286-87 and recommends its adoption .
