The purpose of Resolution No . 280-87 is to amend the Salary
Ordinance as follows :
Section 8 .07 . OFFICE OF THE SAFETY COORDINATOR
1 . Transfer one position of Safety and Driver Improvement
Coordinator SR-21 from Section 8 .08 (a ) . Office of the
Chief Engineer . Department of Public Works .
2. Transfer three positions of Equipment Operations
Instructor SR-17 ( Temporary as needed ) from
Section 8 .08 (f-1 ) . South Hilo, Highway Maintenance
Division. Department of Public Works .
3. Transfer one position of Equipment Operations
Instructor SR-17 ( Temporary as needed ) from
Section 8 .08 (f-4 ) . North and- South Kona, Highway
Maintenance Division. Department of Public Works ®
Pursuant to Section 3-14 , Hawaii County Charter , interim amendments to
the Pay Plan may be made by resolution .
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of Resolution
No. 280-87 and recommends its adoption .
