Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred
Communication No . 961, reports as follows :
The purpose of Communication No . 961 is to recommend the appointment
of Ms . Mona P. Yeaman, a democrat from Kona, to the Civil Service
Commission .
Section 7-1 . 2, Hawaii County Charter , relating to the Civil Service
Commission, provides for seven members to be appointed by the Mayor
and confirmed by the Council .
Ms . Yeaman will serve until December 31, 1987 , filling a vacancy
created by the resignation of Mr . Steven S. Kai .
_ Your Committee on Finance recommends approval of the appointment of
Ms . Mona P. Yeaman to the Civil Service Commission .
