Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 298, reports as
follows:
The purpose of Bill 298 is to amend Ordinance _86-64, the Capital
Budget for Fiscal Year 1986-87 , by adding the following projects :
Kahaluu Beach Basketball Court & Improvements $100 ,000
Honaunau Rodeo Arena 35 ,000
Old Kona Airport Soccer Field Fencing 20,000
$155 ,000
Funds will be provided from the fund balance of the Bond Fund . Any
balances remaining after the completion of either of the three
projects shall be transferred to the other projects for completion
purposes . Such transfer shall mean appropriations as well as
allotments .
Your committee has consolidated project considerations designating
fund balances as source of funds into a single bill (Bill 335) .
Accordingly, your Committee .on Finance recommends that Bill 298 be
filed .
