Your Committee on Finance , to which was referred Bill 317 , reports as
follows:
Bill 317 proposes to amend Ordinance 86-63, the Operating Budget for
Fiscal Year 1986-87 , by increasing revenues in Account No. 3304. 22,
State Grants - Every Swimmer A Lifesaver Program, by $20 ,000 and
appropriating same to Account No . 010-503-5503.34-115 , Parks &
Recreation - Every Swimmer A Lifesaver Program.
The foregoing represents a grant from the Department of Planning and
Economic Development (DPED ) to the County 's Department of Parks and
Recreation for the purpose of administering a "Every Swimmer A
Lifesaver " program. The program is scheduled for completion by
December 31 , 1987 .

Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose of
Bill 317 and recommends that it pass first reading .
