Your Committee on Finance , to which was referred Resolution
No . 257-87 , reports as follows :
The purpose of Resolution No . 257-87 is to amend the Salary Ordinance
as follows :
Section 8 .13 . DEPARTMENT OF LIQUOR CONTROL
1 . Reallocate one position of Secretary-Reporter SR-16 to
Secretary-Administrative Assistant SR-18 .
2. Reallocate one position of Clerk-Stenographer SR-9 to
Hearings Reporter SR-14 .
The reallocations are the result of the department 's efforts to
realign its duties to provide more efficiency and coordination of
internal affairs as the department strives to enforce our liquor
control laws .
Funds have been certified to by the Director of Liquor Control and
Director of Finance . Your committee also heard that funds will be
provided from the Liquor Control Department .
Pursuant to Section 3-14, Hawaii County Charter , interim amendments
to the Pay Plan may be made by resolution.
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of Resolution
No . 257-87 and recommends its adoption.
