Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication
VNo. 886 , reports as follows :
The purpose of Communication No . 886 is to recommend the appointment
of Ms. Charmaine L. Kamaka of Hilo to the Fire Board of Appeals .
The appointment will be for a full term which will commence upon the
confirmation approval by the Council , and expire on December 31 , 1991 .
Pursuant .to Section 26-3, Hawaii County Code, the Fire Board of
Appeals shall be comprised of five members who shall be qualified by
experience and training to pass upon matters pertaining to fire
safety and at least one of whom shall be, by training and ex erience,
familiar with building structures and flammable materials . Council
approval is required.
Your Committee on Finance recommends approval of the appointment of
Ms. Charmaine L. Kamaka to the Fire Bo d of Appeals .
