Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution
No. 250-87 , reports as follows :
The purpose of Resolution No . 250-87 is to establish the authority to
issue a contract for the purpose of defining an acceptable budget
format . The accounting firm of Peat, Marwick, Mitchell and Company
will be retained as consultants because of their familiarity with the
attendant problems associated with the present budget format .
Although •the Mayor will be signing the contract , as required by the
Hawaii County Charter, supervision of the contract will be vested
with the Council .
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of Resolution
No. 250-87 and recommends its adoption .
