Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution
No. 247-87 , reports as follows : .
The purpose of Resolution No. 247-87 is to amend the Salary Ordinance
as follows :
REGULAR COUNTY POSITIONS (PART-TIME)
Section 8 .09(a-1 ) . AQUATICS DIVISION. DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND
RECREATION
1 . Change the time element of one position of Lifeguard I
(Pool ) SR-11 from 3/10 time to 2/5 time.
The amendment changes the time element of one position of Lifeguard I
from 3/10 time to 2/5 time. This position is located at the Pahala
Swimming Pool .
Council has already authorized funds to accommodate the extension of
the pool hours to fulfill the request of the community.
Pursuant to Section 3-14, Hawaii County Charter , interim amendments
to the Pay Plan may be made by resolution.
Your Committee on Finance concurs withe intent of Resolution
No. 247-87 and recommends its ado ion.
