Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Comm. 866 reports as
follows:
Communication 866 from Mr . Goro Inaba for the Holualoa Machi ,
Holualoa Nogyo, Kaumalumalu, Waiaha and Kahaluu Kumias , bestows a
framed oil portrait of the late Lt . Colonel Ellison Onizuka by Kona
artist Hiroki Morinoue. As a condition, this memorial gift to the
people of Hawaii County is to be displayed in the Kona Imin Center .
Pursuant to Section 13-12, Hawaii County Charter , the Council , on
behalf of the County, may accept gifts of donation.
Your Committee on Finance recommends acceptance of the donation and
that a letter of appreciation be forwarded to Mr ® Goro Inaba.
