Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Comm. 862 from
A. Scott Leithead, Housing Administrator , reports as follows :
Communication 862 requests the Council ' s approval to receive the
donation of materials and labor which were provided to the County of
Hawaii for use in the Papaaloa Elderly Housing Project from the
following contractors :

Pursuant to Section 13-12, Hawaii County Charter , the Council, on
behalf of the County, may accept gifts of donation .
Your Committee on Finance recommends acceptance of the donation and
that a letter of appreciation be forwarded to the above-named •
contractors.
