Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 297, reports as
follows :
Bill 297 proposes to amend Ordinance 86-64, the Capital Budget for
Fiscal Year 1986-87, by adding the following project:
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
Hualalai Road (N. Kona ) $8,609.74
Funding for this project inadvertently lapsed on June 30, 1986.
Bill 297 proposes to reauthorize the appropriation of $8,609.74 with
funds to be provided by the Fund Balance of the Bond Fund. This
appropriation will allow the administration to fulfill their
outstanding obligation for the completed project.
Pursuant to Section 10-6, Hawaii County Charter, the Council, by
ordinance and the affirmative vote of two-thirds of the entire
membership, may amend the Capital Budget for that year .
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose of
Bill 297 and recommends that it pass first reading.
