Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Res. 240-87, reports
as follows :
The purpose of Resolution 240-87 is to amend the Salary Ordinance as
follows : `
Section 8.15 . OFFICE OF THE PROSECUTING ATTORNEY
1 . Reallocate one position of Special Investigator II EM-5
to Victim/Witness Coordinator SR-24.
2. Reallocate one position of Investigator V SR-24 to
Investigator VI SR-26.
The reallocation of Special Investigator II EM-5 to Victim/Witness
Coordinator SR-24 is justified due to the reorganization within the
office of the Prosecuting Attorney: The Victim/Witness Coordinator
will plan, assign, evaluate and develop programs and policies, and
will supervise the staff of V/W counselors .
Pursuant to Section 3-14, Hawaii County Charter , interim amendments
to the Pay Plan may be made by resolution.
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of
Resolution 240-87 and recommends its adoption.
