Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Res . 234-87, reports
as follows:
The purpose of Resolution 234-87 is to amend the Salary Ordinance as
follows :
REGULAR COUNTY POSITIONS (PART-TIME)
Section 8.09( f ) . ELDERLY ACTIVITIES DIVISION. DEPARTMENT OF
PARKS AND RECREATION
1 . Reallocate and change the time element of one position
of Recreation Aid SR-7 hourly to Building Custodian I
WB-2 (1/4 time) .
The reallocation and change of time element of one position of
Recreation Aid SR-7 hourly to Building Custodial I WB-2 (1/4 time ) is
justified based on the conversion of the position to civil service
status .
Pursuant to Section 3-14, Hawaii County Charter , interim amendments
to the Pay Plan may be made by resolution .
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of
Resolution 234-87 and recommends adoption .
