Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Res . 233-87, reports
as follows :
The purpose of Resolution 233-87 is to amend the Salary Ordinance as
follows : `
Section 8.11 . DEPARTMENT OF CIVIL SERVICE
1 . Reallocate one position of Personnel Management
Specialist I SR-18 to Personnel Assistant SR-17.
2. Reallocate one position of Personnel Management
Specialist I SR-18 to Senior Clerk-Stenographer SR-11.
The reallocation is justified based on the reorganization and
redistribution of duties, thereby decreasing the operating expenses
of the Department of Civil Service:
Pursuant to Section 3-14, Hawaii County Charter , interim amendments
to the Pay Plan may be made by resolution.
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of •
Resolution 233-87 and recommends its adoption.
