Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Res . 232-87, reports
as follows:
The purpose of Resolution 232-87 is to amend the Salary Ordinance as
follows :
Section 8.06. DEPARTMENT OF RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
1 . Reallocate one position of Senior Clerk-Stenographer
SR-11 to Account Clerk SR-10.
The reallocation is justified based on the duties that essentially
involves 'more departmental accounting for the County system rather
than stenographic work .
Pursuant to Section 3-14, Hawaii County Charter, interim amendments
to the Pay Plan may be made by resolution .
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of
Resolution 232-87 and recommends its adoption.
