Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution 229-87,
reports as follows:
The purpose of Resolution 229-87 is to give approval to the
Corporation Counsel to enter into a 5-year service contract with
Hawaiian Telephone Company with a monthly charge of 1410 .
Monthly Yearly 5-Year Total Charge
Funds to be budgeted: 1410 $4,920 $24,600
Pursuant to Section 10-11 of the Hawaii County Charter , the Council ,
by resolution, must approve obligations regarding payment of funds
from appropriations of a later fiscal year or of more than one fiscal
year .
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose of
Resolution 229-87 and recommends its adoption.
