Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication 825;
reports as follows :
The purpose of Communication 825 is to confirm or deny the
appointment of Mr . Bruce C. McCall to the Board of Ethics . A
republican from Hilo, Mr. McCall will be filling an existing vacancy
created by the resignation of Mr . Russell A. Botelho. The
appointment term will expire December 31, 1988.
Pursuant to Section 13-4 and 14-5, Hawaii County Charter, members of
the Board of Ethics shall be appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by
the Council .
Your Committee on Finance recommends approval of the appointment of
Mr . Bruce C. McCall to the Board of Ethics .
