Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 290, reports as
follows :
Bill 290 proposes to amend Ordinance 86-63, the Operating Budget for
Fiscal Year 1986-87 , by increasing the General Fund Transfer from
Other Funds by $99,166.55 and appropriating it to various accounts in
the Prosecuting Attorney, Police and Parks & Recreation budgets .
The purpose of Bill 290 is to appropriate the remaining fund balance
of the Federal Revenue Sharing Fund to the following:
PROSECUTING ATTORNEY $40,000.00
Hilo Office
Adver . & Publ . of Notices $ 500.00
Repairs to Equipment 10, 200.00
Misc. Contract Services 9,000.00
Fuels & Lubricants 800.00
Stationery & Off. Supplies 3 ,000.00
Equip.-Off. Equip.-Fixt .-Furn. 4, 550.00
Equip.-Computer Equipment 9, 725.00
Kona Office
OCE - Ms . Contract Services 1 ,000.00
OCE - Fuels & Lubricants 400 .00
Equip.-Off. Equip.-Fixt.-Furn. 825.00
POLICE $48, 166 .55
Kailua Substation $48,166.55
PARKS & RECREATION $11 ,000 .00
Parks Maint.-OCE-Bldg. & Const. Mat. $ 7, 500.00
Recreation-OCE-Misc. Contract Serv. 3,500 .00
The foregoing appropriations will enable the Prosecuting Attorney to
proceed with necessary programs to meet his goals and objectives .
The Kailua substation is ready for bidding as soon as funding is made
available. Parks & Recreation appropriations will provide for
completion of the sand volleyball courts at Mooheau Park and to
enable the track meets for elementary and intermediate grade children
to continue.
